First Person Perspective

The first person perspective lets you explore your model from the inside and grants you a first impression on how big the spaces really are or how well a new piece of furniture would look in your apartment. As with every perspective the first person perspective has its own set of controls.

Controls

Mouse

Left mouse button drag - Move the camera forward or backward and look to the left and right.

Left mouse button double click - Move the camera to the position you double clicked

Right mouse button drag - Look around from the point you’re standing.

Mouse wheel - Move the camera forward or backward.

Keyboard

Up arrow key - Move the camera forward.

Down arrow key - Move the camera backward.

Left arrow key - Rotate the camera to the left.

Right arrow key - Rotate the camera to the right.

W - Move the camera forward.

A - Pan the camera to the left.

S - Move the camera backward.

D - Pan the camera to the right.

C - Move the camera to the center of the 3d model (swaps to the bird view perspective).

Shift - Press Shift to swap the functionality of the left with right mouse button.

Ctrl - Press Ctrl to swap the functionality of the left with right mouse button.

Alt - Press Alt to swap the functionality of the left with right mouse button.
